Cardinals vs. 49ers Odds, Week 9: Bet Lines Open, Point Spreads, Plus Early Movement For NFL Matchup

The NFL concludes its week 8 Sunday table and Football on Sunday evening and Monday night football remain. In the meantime, we’ve got some early odds to prepare you for Week 9. The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers will clash next week, with kick-off scheduled for Thursday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

The Cardinals lost their first game of the season, losing 24-21 to the Packers after Kyler Murray threw an endzone interception to end the game and falling to 7-1. In particular, Murray suffered a foot injury late in the game and his status for week 9 is uncertain. The 49ers beat the Bears 33-22 on Sunday to take a four-game losing streak and improve to 3-4. The 49ers lost 17:10 in Week 5 in Arizona, almost holding Murray back in a pretty impressive manner.

DraftKings Sportsbook released the opening odds for this matchup earlier this week. Here’s a look at how the Cardinals-49ers matchup odds opened and where they reopened in Week 9.

Reopened distribution of points: Cardinals -3
total score: 47.5
Money line: Cardinals -150, 49ers +130

Opening point spread: Cardinals -3
Total opening point: 47.5

Early selection: 49er +3

This is a difficult game to find out. The 49ers were having a tough time for the Cardinals in week five in Arizona, but Trey Lance started that game. Whether or not to return to the starting XI this season, the Cardinals faced a QB that no one had seen in the regular season. Perhaps advantage cardinals? The Cardinals, on the other hand, will do without JJ Watt and could play against a wacky Kyler Murray. Advantage 49er? Get the points with the home squad, though that line could shift with the injury report and an update on Murray.
