Cross Country Healthcare establishes Clinical Quality Council

BOCA RATON, Florida – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Cross Country Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of counseling and HR solutions, including workforce planning, permanent employment and other counseling services to healthcare customers, today announced the establishment of its Clinical Quality Council. The Clinical Quality Council is represented by the organization’s clinical leaders and serves as an advisory body for the entire organization and its customers. Members of the council are Dr. Hank Drummond, Liz Cantwell and Michael Skovira.

The council will consist of the following members.

  • Hank Drummond, PhD, MDiv, BA, RN, will serve as chairman and chief clinical officer. He is responsible for overseeing the organization’s clinical, qualitative, educational, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liz Cantwell, BSN, RN, becomes deputy chairman and senior nursing manager. Liz is also the Senior Vice President for Workforce Solutions. She is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that provide healthcare facilities with tailored solutions to meet their specific staffing needs.
  • Michael Skovira, MBA, MPAS, PA-C will also serve as co-chair and chief medical officer. He is responsible for leading, coordinating and managing all aspects of clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Council members will work closely with the Cross Country Healthcare leadership team to drive excellence in patient care and outcomes by bringing a clinical voice to all areas of discussion. Clinical executives and medical specialists from individual Cross Country departments will also contribute their specialist knowledge to the Council’s initiatives.
