Leadership Jacksonville is a nonprofit organization that educates, connects, and inspires diverse leaders to build and strengthen their communities. “These incredible honorees exemplify a commitment to improving Northeast Florida through their influential leadership and community involvement. We hope each of her diverse stories inspires others to take a step forward to improve the community,” said Jill Langford Dame, CEO of Leadership Jacksonville.
Proceeds from Celebration 2022 support Youth Leadership Jacksonville, an annual program that brings together a diverse group of select Northeast Florida high school students with proven leadership skills and prepares them to become ethical leaders committed to active community participation.

• Patrick (Pat) Geraghty, President and CEO, GuideWell and Florida Blue
Mr. Geraghty is a past chairman of the Florida Council of 100, a board member for the National Institute of Health Care Management, the American Cancer Society, Pardee Rand Graduate School, America’s Health Insurance Plans and Tampa Electric Co. (TECO). . Within the Northeast Florida community, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, past Board Chair of the United Way of Northeast Florida, and Honorary Chair of the American Cancer Society’s 2019 Making Strides Jacksonville Walk. Mr. Geraghty is a 2013 New Leadership Summit graduate.

• Julia (JuJu) Taylor, community volunteer
Ms. Taylor is a former director of community affairs and associate vice president for institutional development at the University of North Florida; former State Director for Development, PACE Center for Girls, Inc; and former Director, Boutique and Agenda, Stein Mart, Inc. She currently serves as Trustee of the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center Leadership Council; the Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless Advisory Board and is President of Weave Tales, Inc. Ms. Taylor has also served as President of the Women’s Giving Alliance; Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, Inc.; Barnabas, Inc.; Junior League of Jacksonville, Inc. and the State of Florida Guardian ad Litem, Fourth Judicial Circuit. She has served as First Vice President of the Association of Junior Leagues International and on the national board of the Court Appointed Special Advocate Association. Ms. Taylor is a 1978 graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.
• Leon Haley (posthumous), former CEO, UF Health Jacksonville
dr Haley came to Jacksonville in 2017 after working at Emory University-Grady Hospital in Atlanta. He was hired as the dean of the University of Florida Jacksonville Medical School and was soon appointed CEO of the University of Florida Health Jacksonville. dr Haley has served in many leadership/volunteer roles including serving on the boards of JEA, JAX Chamber, Jacksonville Civic Council, American Hospital Association Urban Sustainability, Florida Hospital Association, Florida Safety Alliance and Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education , the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the Griffith Leadership Center at the University of Michigan. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Pi Phi fraternities. dr Haley was a 2017 New Leadership Summit graduate.
