Italy will face Spain in the first Euro 2020 semi-final at Wembley after both sides won last night.

The Spaniards won a close 3-1 penalty shootout against Switzerland after a 1-1 draw in regulation that remained the same throughout extra time.

And in Munich, Italy beat Belgium 2-1 in an exciting meeting.

Elsewhere, Harry Maguire believes Jadon Sancho will be a smash hit for Manchester United – despite his frustrating Euro 2020.

Borussia Dortmund and the Red Devils have reached a £ 73million deal for the winger, who played in Germany for four years after leaving Manchester City.

Old Trafford skipper Maguire, preparing for tonight’s quarter-final against Ukraine in Rome, said: “When he signs I’m sure he’s going to have a great career for United and be a much of our success going forward.

“Jadon is a high level player. He has exceptional talent even though he is still very young, even though he has played so many games.

“We have exceptional talent in his post for this England team so Jadon will bide his time, be patient and be ready when the opportunity presents itself.

“I was really impressed with the way he worked in training. He really makes a change day by day. He has great talent. He scores five-a-side goals and so on. He’s a big boy.

Brighton have signed former England Under-17 international Jeremy Sarmiento from Portuguese giants Benfica.

The 19-year-old prodigy joined the Seagulls on a two-year contract after rejecting offers from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Leeds have signed Jack Harrison from Manchester City, the club have confirmed.

Harrison, 24, signed for an undisclosed amount – estimated at around £ 10million – and entered into a three-year deal.

Brian Kidd left Manchester City after 12 years as a coach.

He has served three managers to Roberto Mancini, Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola, helping City win Premier League crowns since 2011.

But with his influence on the first team reduced, he felt it was time to leave at the age of 71. City offered the Mancunian new roles, which were left open.

And finally, Arsenal have reportedly been linked with a shock move to sign free agent Sergio Ramos.

The 35-year-old was expected to sign for Paris Saint-Germain after completing his contract at Real Madrid.

The Spanish defender has already signed a two-year contract with Les Parisiens. But according to Goal, no agreement has yet been reached between Ramos and the Ligue 1 team.

And they said Mikel Arteta had asked to be kept informed of any developments regarding the future of the four-time Champions League winner.
