Pets of the Week: Two dozen black cats are available for adoption

JACKSON, MI – Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are a few of them.

Flower is a 2 year old female black Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd. Flower is fast and loves to run and be outside. She is friendly and seems to like most of her canine neighbors. Flower hasn’t learned her basic commands or how to walk on a leash, however, but she could learn to be a fantastic jogging buddy.

Calling all black cat lovers. The shelter has many beautiful black cats from a nursery situation. More than 24 solid black cats are currently lying on the floor. You can make your choice. Most have gold eyes, but there are also green-eyed kittens.

A meet-and-greet with a dog is compulsory. A cat room pass-through is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, including vaccinations, microchips, and sterilization.

Cat adoption fees are $ 60 for one cat and $ 80 for two cats, including applicable tests, vaccines, and neutering / neutering.
